If you only need a karaoke player for one night and one night only, your best option is to rent. Sometimes you can get a rental package that includes quality microphones, a large selection of music, and lights. Rental packages that include music are nice, because the selection is typically huge; you can get all the music you and your party guests could ever imagine singing.

2. Buying

Karaoke machines are available still and have the ability to play special CD’s that have the words synced up. While the cost of a karaoke machine and a few CDs is affordable, it can be costly to build up a large collection of music. The machines themselves range in price depending on options such as the number of video outputs, the type of video outputs and other factors. Most new karaoke systems are able to play music files from a computer burned onto a CD or those files can be accessed through a USB port that is hooked up to a portable storage device, like a tiny travel flash drive.
