80's Halloween Costume Ideas For Girls And Women
Many little girls like to have their friends over for a slumber party when it is their birthday. For parents, it can be stressful trying to organise a sleepover. This can sometimes be as much about competition between parents than it is between the children, hoping that they organise a much more fun, entertaining night than the other mums at the playground gates. When your daughter tells you they have had a great party with all of their friends, you will feel that the time and effort you put into organising it has been worthwhile.
It can be a good idea to have a fancy dress theme or style that all the guests stick to. A pink velour tracksuit is fun when everyone is dressed up the same, or make it princess themed. Adding a bit of fun to what the children wear can also take the pressure off parents finding something comfortable and smart for their children to wear.
A child’s party can fall apart if the food is not right. First, check that none of the guests have any allergies or dietary requirements. Once this has been ascertained, you can go wild with the food you provide for the kids. So you don’t need plates, knives or forks, keep food finger sized and easy to pick at.
Try to make sausage rolls, pizza, cakes and sweets, all of which are children’s favourites. If you think you need healthy choices as well, provide vegetable sticks and fruit pieces but I cannot assure you that they will be popular.
Have the children bring their own sleeping bag or duvet if you do not have enough to go around. The more comfortable the sleeping arrangements are, the less chance of you having grumpy guests in the morning.
Follow these tips and you are sure to throw a successful slumber party for your daughter.
